This piece consisted of a piece of meat suspended in the middle of a glass box by four wires. The face closest in the photo is open. The insides are coated with fly-paper resin, and on the outside are blank music staffs printed on transparencies. Insects were attracted to the rotting meat and became stuck to the fly paper. Their dead bodies generated random music notes on the blank staffs.
